1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Murkuz ("the Service"), operated by Ertiqah, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Murkuz is a search data connector. With your permission it reads the Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Bing Webmaster Tools accounts you connect, and returns that data to you and to the AI clients you connect, such as Claude or ChatGPT. It also offers keyword and competitor research drawn from outside your own accounts, charged in research credits. The Service includes the web application, the connector, the API, integrations, and related tools.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payment

Murkuz offers paid subscription plans with different site limits and research credit allowances. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described on our pricing page.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected.
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • We may change pricing with 30 days advance notice. Changes apply at your next billing cycle.
  • Research credits included in your plan are consumed when you run research that draws on data from outside your connected accounts. Reading your own connected data is not metered. Unused credits stay on your balance and carry over. A separate monthly research allowance limits how much research you can run in any one month, and that allowance resets each month.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the source code of the Service
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Use the Service to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Overload or interfere with the Service's infrastructure

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or generate through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools, WordPress, Slack). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or behavior.

8. Read Access and Write Operations

The Service reads from the properties you connect. It does not change them, with one exception: when you ask it to, it can submit a sitemap to Google Search Console on your behalf. No other operation writes to a connected property, and nothing is submitted without your instruction. You may revoke the Service's access from your own Google or Microsoft account at any time.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will provide reasonable notice of planned downtime when possible.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Murkuz and Ertiqah shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to ranking changes or traffic losses.

11. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases and your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before resorting to formal proceedings.
