8 queries qualify. The top three:
| Query | Impressions | Clicks | Position |
|---|---|---|---|
| google review link generator | 2,602 | 12 | 10.5 |
| free google review link generator | 1,480 | 2 | 9.1 |
| free google review generator | 748 | 1 | 8.2 |

All three sit just below the top results on the same page. The first one alone has 2,602 impressions and 12 clicks, so a better title and opening for that page is the cheapest win on the site. Want me to check what the page says now?

What is an SEO agent?
An SEO agent is an AI system that plans, carries out and checks SEO work in steps. It pulls data, decides what matters, takes the next action through the tools it has and then looks at the result, instead of waiting for a new prompt at every step.
The model does the reasoning. The tools decide what it can see, which is why an agent with no access to your Search Console can only guess. Those tools usually reach the model through the Model Context Protocol, the open standard Anthropic introduced in 2024.
Murkuz is a search-data connector for AI agents: a hosted MCP server that gives Claude, ChatGPT or any other MCP client read access to your own Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 and Bing Webmaster Tools data, for every site you connect.

Four kinds of AI SEO agent
Most products sold as an AI SEO agent fall into one of four groups. They are built for different jobs, so the right one depends on what you want done.
| Kind | Example | What it reads | What it writes | Who publishes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Content agents | Agent templates on Relevance AI | A keyword, a URL or a brief | Plans, outlines and drafts | You, or the tool's CMS integration |
| Autoblogging agents | The SEO Agent (theseoagent.ai) | Your site, keyword data and, on some, Search Console | Full articles on a schedule | The tool, after you approve |
| Site-change agents | OTTO by Search Atlas, Alli AI | Your live pages and a crawl of your site | Titles, meta tags, schema and internal links | The tool, straight to your live site, with approval optional on some |
| Your own AI plus a data connector | Claude or ChatGPT with Murkuz | Your Search Console, Analytics and Bing rows, for every site | Answers, plans and drafts in the chat | You |
If you want an agent to write, post or change pages for you, the first three kinds are built for that. If you want to know what is happening on your own sites and make the calls yourself, the AI you already use plus a data connector like Murkuz is the better fit.
Do AI SEO agents actually work?
AI SEO agents work when they can see your real data. Most of the doubt comes from agents that start from a keyword and very little else, so whether one helps depends far more on what it can see than on how clever the model is.
The reasoning part works well. What lets most agents down is the data. An agent reading your real rows can name the page that lost clicks and the query it lost them on, while one without them writes a confident checklist that would fit any site.
You still decide what to change, because no agent knows your product, your margins or what your readers trust. The fastest way to judge one is to ask it a question about your own site and check whether the answer names your real pages.
In practice
What your AI SEO agent can do with Murkuz
These are the jobs people usually hand an SEO agent first. You ask in your own words, the agent picks the tool, and reading your own data never costs a credit.
Which pages lost the most clicks in the last 28 days?
Live_Traffic_DropsSee what lost traffic, and how much
The Monday check an SEO agent should run first. Ask a follow-up and it pulls the queries behind any of those pages.
What am I ranking just off page one for, with real impressions behind it?
Live_Quick_WinsFind the keywords you are nearly ranking for
A shortlist of queries one solid edit away from the top results, sorted by the clicks a better position could bring.
Which pages get impressions but almost no clicks?
Live_CTR_OpportunitiesFind results people see but do not click
Points the agent at the titles and descriptions worth rewriting, and it can draft the new ones in the same chat.
Are two of my pages competing for the same query?
Live_CannibalizationFind your own pages competing with each other
Catches the blog post quietly outranking your product page before anyone writes a third page on the same topic.
This page ranks, but does anyone do anything once they land?
Page_Search_To_BehaviourJoin how a page is found to what visitors then do
Joins Search Console to Analytics, so the agent can tell a page that brings buyers from a page that only brings visits.
How is this page doing on Bing, not just Google?
Bing_Search_PerformanceRead your own Bing Webmaster numbers
Your own Bing Webmaster Tools numbers come back in the same chat as Google's.
What does this competitor rank for that I do not?
Competitor_GapFind what a competitor ranks for and you do not3 credits
The keyword research step an agent would otherwise guess at, with the search volume behind each gap.
Then it keeps going
An agent does not stop at the first answer. Here is the same call, one step further: the agent reads the result, picks what matters and makes its next move.
| Query | Impressions | Clicks | Position |
|---|---|---|---|
| google review link generator | 2,602 | 12 | 10.5 |
| free google review link generator | 1,480 | 2 | 9.1 |
| free google review generator | 748 | 1 | 8.2 |
| free google review link | 320 | 0 | 9.6 |
| generate review link | 293 | 1 | 9.4 |
Top 5 of the 8 queries this call returned.
The agent picks the three with the most impressions.
Which page earns those impressions?
Search_AnalyticsAll three queries land on testimonials.ltd/tools/google-review-link-generator.
Draft a title that covers all three phrases.
Two options, each under 60 characters, that lead with "Google review link generator" and say it is free.
Illustrative. Your agent writes the draft in the chat.
I published the new title. How do I know it worked?
Search_AnalyticsAsk me the same question in 28 days and I will compare the two windows for those three queries.
Murkuz never writes to your site. You publish the change; your agent measures it.

Questions about SEO agents
What is an SEO agent?
An SEO agent is an AI system that plans, carries out and checks SEO work in steps. It pulls data, decides what matters, takes the next action through the tools it has and then measures the result, instead of waiting for a new prompt at every step. The model does the reasoning, and the tools decide what it can see and do, which is why an agent with no access to your Search Console can only guess. Most agents reach their tools through the Model Context Protocol, the open standard Anthropic introduced in 2024. With Murkuz, the agent is Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client you already use, and Murkuz is the connector that hands it your own Search Console, Analytics and Bing data.
What is the best AI SEO agent for my own site?
The one that can read your own data. A content or autoblogging agent is the better pick if you want articles written and posted for you. If you want answers about your own rankings, traffic and conversions, use the AI you already pay for and give it your Search Console, Analytics and Bing data through a connector like Murkuz, then judge it on whether its answers name your real pages.
Is Murkuz an SEO agent?
No. The agent is Claude, ChatGPT or whichever MCP client you already use. Murkuz is the connector that hands it 32 tools for reading your own Search Console, Google Analytics 4 and Bing Webmaster Tools data, so its answers rest on your numbers.
What does an answer actually look like?
Here is a real one. On 9 October 2026 we asked which queries were sitting just off page one for testimonials.ltd, one of our own sites, over the last 28 days. Live_Quick_Wins found eight queries with more than 100 impressions. The biggest was "google review link generator": 2,602 impressions, 12 clicks, average position 10.5. Next came "free google review link generator" at 1,480 impressions and position 9.1, and "free google review generator" at 748 impressions and position 8.2.
Can ChatGPT help with SEO?
Yes, for writing, explaining and planning. On its own it cannot see your rankings, clicks or impressions, so anything it says about your site is general advice. Connected to Murkuz, ChatGPT reads your real Search Console and Analytics rows and can tell you which pages lost clicks and which queries sit just off page one.
Which AI is best for SEO, and is anything better than ChatGPT?
For SEO on your own sites, the model matters less than what it can see. Claude and ChatGPT read the same 32 tools through Murkuz, Claude Code and Cursor suit people who already work in an editor, and any other MCP client works too. Pick the one whose answers you like reading. Your connected sites stay exactly as they are if you switch later.
Does Murkuz write content or publish fixes to my site?
No. Murkuz reads Search Console, Analytics and Bing Webmaster Tools and hands the rows to your agent. The agent can draft a new title or a section rewrite in the chat, and you or your team publish it. The only write Murkuz can make is submitting a sitemap to Search Console.
How do I connect Murkuz to Claude or ChatGPT?
Connect your sites in the Murkuz app first, then add https://murkuz.com/mcp as a connector in Claude or ChatGPT and approve it. In Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients you add the same URL as a remote MCP server. The MCP server setup page on this site has the exact steps for each client.
Is it safe to connect my Search Console to an AI agent?
Murkuz reaches your data through the official Google and Bing APIs, with your own permissions. Reading is all it does with your properties, apart from one action you can ask for: submitting a sitemap to Search Console. It never asks for a password, it cannot see a property you have not connected, and you can revoke Google access from your Google account at any time.
Can I do SEO on my own with an AI agent?
For a site you run yourself, yes. The agent does the pulling and sorting that used to eat an afternoon, and you make the calls: which page to fix first, what to rewrite, what to leave alone. Murkuz covers the data, and the decisions stay yours.
How much does an SEO expert cost compared with doing it with an agent?
SEO consultants and agencies usually charge by the hour, by the project or as a monthly retainer, and the price climbs with the number of sites, the competition in your market and how much writing and link work is included. An agent with your data does not replace the judgement you would pay an expert for. It replaces the exporting, sorting and first-pass analysis, which is often the part a small team cannot afford to hand out.
What is AI SEO called now?
You will see it called agentic SEO when an AI model does the work in steps, and GEO (generative engine optimization) or AEO (answer engine optimization) when the goal is to show up inside AI answers. The names are new. The data underneath is still your Search Console, Analytics and Bing.
Is SEO dead now with AI?
No. People still type queries into Google and Bing, and AI answers still cite web pages, so the work has changed shape rather than gone away. You can check it on your own site: ask your agent how many impressions your pages earned last month and which queries brought them.
How much does it cost?
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, card required. Plans differ on how many sites you connect and how many research credits you get each month, never on which tools answer, and reading your own data is never metered. The pricing page has the current numbers.

I run SEO for 14 sites across eight products: 3,600+ published articles, 50M+ organic search impressions, and organic search as the first growth channel for every launch. Day to day that means Search Console and GA4 analysis, keyword and SERP research, content operations at scale, and catching ranking decay before it costs traffic. These articles are the notes from that work.
Stop pasting exports into the chat. Let your agent read them.
Connect Search Console, Analytics and Bing Webmaster Tools once, add Murkuz to Claude or ChatGPT, and ask your SEO questions about every site you run in the window you already work in.
